Yes, you can optimize for Custom Events the same way you would for Standard Events.
Before optimizing for a conversion, please learn more about Optimizing for Conversions to ensure it is the right fit for your campaign.
To optimize your campaign for Custom Events, follow these steps:
- Set your campaign's objective to "Conversions" on the Edit Campaign page. Select your Custom Event.
- Navigate to the Edit Ad Set page of an eligible ad set. Conversion optimized bidding requires at least 20+ conversions per ad set in order to deliver ads properly. Using conversion optimized bidding with <20 conversions will result in little to no ad delivery.
- Under the Set a Bid section, select "Optimize for conversions" as your ad delivery option.
- Set your target Cost per Action and click "Update" to save your changes. Please note that your target Cost per Action is not your final CPA.
