Standard Events are installed through the Quora Pixel. This can be done manually or through Google Tag Manager. They are not to be confused with Custom Events, which are set up via URLs and do not require coding. Whenever possible, we recommend using Standard Events since Custom Events have limited functionality.
Standard Events measure an action a user takes on your site that you'd like to track. Actions can include page load events, like an order confirmation page, or an action a user takes that does not generate a new page, like clicking an "Add to Cart" button.
The Ads Manager offers nine default labels, or Standard Events, including "Generic" --a label that can be used if you do not see your desired Standard Event label.
