How do I bulk edit ads?

The bulk ad editing tool enables you to update multiple image and text ads. At this time, the editing tool can only edit text. It cannot edit images or Promoted Answers. 

You can bulk edit your ads by following the steps below:

1. Click the "Download Ads" button from a campaign or ad set, and select a "Form Format" (Excel or CSV).
   
2. Download your Excel or CSV file and make the necessary changes in the spreadsheet. This includes the headline sentences, body texts, landing page urls, display urls, or call to actions on your text and image ads.
3. Click "Upload Ads" at the campaign level or the ad set level.
4. Select your spreadsheet and click "Confirm" to import the edited ads.

What type of ads can I use with the bulk ad editor?

Bulk ad editing only supports the ability to edit the headline sentence, body text, landing page urls, display urls, and call to actions on text and image ads. Promoted Answers cannot be bulk edited at this time.

Will bulk editing ads send them back to ad review?

Yes. Ads that are bulk edited will go through the ad review process, similar to an edit on any single ad.

Will bulk editing change the delivery status of my ad?

No. If you bulk edit an inactive ad it will not change the delivery status. You cannot turn ads off or on with bulk editing.

How do I bulk upload ads?

The link above will have instructions to upload ads in bulk. Please note, you can only bulk upload new text ads under a single ad set. At this time, we do not support the ability to upload new ads across multiple ad sets or the ability to bulk create image ads.
