Creating a Lead Gen Form
Lead Gen Forms are available when your campaign objective is "Lead Generation." After you create your campaign and ad set, you can create an image ad, text ad, or Promoted Answer that will be paired with a Lead Gen Form.
You can create a Lead Gen Form in two ways on the 1) Lead Gen tab or the 2) "Create an ad" page.
To create a form on the Lead Gen tab:
- Navigate to the Lead Gen tab in your Ads Manager.
- Click "Create Form."
- Fill out the "Form details" and "Confirmation Modal" pages. (Note: Form fields cannot be changed after a form is saved.)
- Click "Confirm."
To create a form on the "Create an ad" page:
- Create an ad as you usually would.
- Scroll down and click the "Choose a lead gen form" dropdown menu.
- Select "+Create a Lead Gen form."
- Fill out the "Form details" and "Confirmation Modal" pages.
- Click "Confirm."
Ad Review
After you create a Lead Gen Form, it will be reviewed by our team before going live. If it is accepted, it will start being delivering to users on Quora who match your ad set's targeting.
If the Lead Gen Form is rejected during the review process, you will receive a notification with information on why the form was not approved. Making changes to your form will automatically submit it back to our moderators for review.
Form Status
You can view your form status on the Lead Gen tab in the Ads Manager. Forms can have 3 different statuses:
- Active: Your form is attached to a campaign that is currently delivering.
- Not active: Your form is attached to a campaign that is not delivering.
- Unused: Your form is not attached to any campaigns.
